Baby room Eli

What I like about giving nursery advice is working with what is already there. The ideas of parents, the inspiration that has already been gained, an old cupboard from grandma that deserves a nice spot. They always provide a unique starting point and therefore also a personal room.

This sweet baby room is Eli's and got a very unique atmosphere through his personal items and the vintage dresser. During a Mini Advice I was allowed to think along with Elise Rachelle about how we could make one whole of her inspiration, existing furniture and wishes for the room. With this beautiful baby room as the end result!

Baby room wallpaper inspiration

The starting point for the room was the Forest Animals wallpaper from Pimpelmees in the color pencil gray. Elise Rachelle had already found some nice ideas on Pinterest. However, she got stuck in all the inspiration, because how do you translate that inspiration to your own room? I always enjoy seeing how much we can discuss during the Mini Advice. Which wallpaper do you choose, which paint colors match it, what fits nicely in terms of accessories and styling... Whatever you get stuck on with the plans for your nursery, we solve it all during an hour of video calling! And how nice did this room eventually become. After the Mini Advice, Elise Rachelle confidently continued to decorate Eli's nursery. And she also took these beautiful photos of the end result!

Vintage furniture

What I always find fun and surprising is how you can create a wonderfully warm atmosphere in a child's room with neutral colours and natural materials. But vintage furniture also gives a baby room or child's room a unique look. With a lick of paint, you can make them fit in perfectly with the colour palette of the rest of the room. In the accessories, you can use nice accent colours, which you can always easily change for something new.
