Cheerful children's room wallpaper
It is at the top of my list of favorite products for the nursery: wallpaper! And that is why it will not surprise you that I jumped for joy when I was asked by wallpaper brand Studio Pieni to style a photoshoot for them. I am always so happy when brands give me the trust and freedom to transform their beautiful products into mini nursery settings. In this blog I would like to share one of the girls' rooms with you, which I was allowed to style during the photoshoot for Pieni and Petit Puk. Hopefully it will inspire you to get started with a beautiful, cheerful and warm girls' room styling!
Girls room paint and wallpaper
In the photo studio, the most unique and special combinations of paint colors, wallpaper and products often arise. Combinations with which I hope to inspire you to decorate a truly unique and special children's room. When styling this photo shoot for Studio Pieni and Petit Puk, I was allowed to work with different combinations of wallpaper and paint. Studio Pieni has a very surprising and cheerful wallpaper collection, in which the different types of wallpaper can also be combined very nicely with each other. In this girls' room, I combined wallpaper Fenna and Regina with the warm paint color 'Velvet' by Bibelotte. The result was a very warm and secure room, in which both the paint color and the wallpaper continue onto the ceiling. Extra cozy!
Styling inspiration for girls' room
What I always find fun and surprising is how much difference accessories can make in the styling of a child's room. They are really the icing on the cake in the design of your child's room. In this room you see many accessories in natural materials, which make the styling extra warm and cozy. The light bedding contrasts nicely with the warm wooden bed of Petit Puk and is a repetition of the colors in the wallpaper. And repetition of colors creates peace!
Even though this room has a lot of warm colours, it works very well to step outside a colour palette and add an accent colour. In a room with a warm colour palette, feel free to add cooler colours as an accent. You can see them in this room in a number of accessories and in the blue paint colour on the vintage cabinet. The cabinet is painted in the colour Lucht by Bibelotte and provides a nice and surprising contrast.
